In the morning of August 16, 2014, Hualan NPM held 2014 scholarship granting ceremony for employees’ outstanding children in the research and development center conference room. The employees’ outstanding children and their parents of the company attended the granting ceremony and Chairman Hua Guoping attended the granting ceremony personally and made a statement.
In this year, many employees’ children obtained outstanding achievements and excellent performance, among whom the son of the employee Liu Baoya in the performing workshop Liu Lin was admitted to national class one university Nanjing Agricultural University, the daughter of Zhu Jianjun in mechanical repair shop Zhu Yunjie was admitted to Jiangyin Nanjing Senior High School and the daughter of Zhao Liying in Quality Control Department Zhou Xiaoyu stood out and was admitted to Wuxi Tianyi High School with good grades. The chairman extended his congratulations to the children and their parents who were admitted to university and won scholarship. He also called the students present to both achieve good grades and develop good moral character, developing in an all-round way morally, intellectually and physically and becoming a person knowing how to be grateful and return to the community. Meanwhile, the chairman also expressed that employees’ excellent children were pride of the company and the examples for other employees’ children. In the next year, the company would make corresponding adjustment to the employees’ children scholarship system and increase the strength of scholarship to stimulate more employees’ children to study hard, make progress and leave no worry about them to their parents.
